Why did you decide to enter law?

I decided to enter law because I wanted to help people understand that the law can be used for you and not just against you. I view my practice as a form of ministry.

What are your practice areas?
I practice workers’ compensation and personal injury.

What makes you stand out among other attorneys?
I believe that my passion for helping people helps me to stand out among other attorneys. I believe I have an authentic personality that allows my client to feel comfortable with trusting me with the opportunity to fight for them. I am also a former professional athlete. I believe my experiences as a professional athlete has taught me how to fight and persevere in order to be successful.

What types of legal issues do your clients generally face?
My clients usually face issues that involve being hurt on the job. I fight to make sure that my clients receive all the benefits that they deserve after being injured on the job. I also help clients that have been injured due to the negligence of another.

What do you in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, workout, and volunteer in my community.

Education
I graduated from Martin Luther King High School in Lithonia, Ga. For college, I graduated from Morehouse College and received my law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

I am member of the Georgia Bar Association.

I am a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, and The Gate City Bar Association.

Anything else we should know?
I played basketball for Morehouse College and after graduating I went on to play professionally in Canada for a few years before deciding to go to law school.

Larry Diamond grew up and attended high school in Atlanta, Georgia where he was an all-state basketball player and involved in numerous organizations. Larry went on to attend and play basketball at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, earning a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law.

After graduation, Larry went on to play professional basketball in Canada for a few years before deciding to continue his education at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduation from law school, Larry went on to work for a law firm in Atlanta where he represented and fought for hundreds of clients in personal injury claims and mass tort litigation claims, including NFL Clients participating in the NFL Concussion Settlement.

Larry now resides in Dekalb County with his wife and two kids. In his free time, Larry enjoys playing basketball and giving back to his community.
