At The Cochran Firm Atlanta Workers’ Compensation team, we believe in standing up for the everyday worker and that includes our seniors and veterans who’ve spent their lives giving so much to our communities. That’s why we’re honored to sponsor the Superheroes for Seniors 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Lilburn City Park.
This inspiring event, hosted by Mending the Gap, Inc., raises funds to support low-income seniors and elderly veterans. From groceries and transportation to companionship and essential resources, the impact of this event reaches those who need it most.
Event Details
📍 Location: Lilburn City Park, 75 Main Street NW, Lilburn, GA 30047
🗓 Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Registration begins at 7:00 AM
5K Run: 8:00 AM ($35, $45 after 7/4/25)
1K Walk/Run: 8:30 AM ($30)
Veteran’s Mile: 9:00 AM ($30)
Participants will enjoy a superhero costume contest, Zumba warm-up, live music, games, giveaways, and more, plus every runner gets a free T-shirt and goody bag. And for those chasing big goals, the race course can also be used as a 2026 Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.

Many seniors and veterans in our community face financial hardship, isolation, and health challenges. Events like Superheroes for Seniors shine a light on these struggles while raising the support needed to make a real difference. When we come together as a community, we ensure that our elders—the very people who paved the way for us—are cared for with dignity and respect.
